Danielle's Story

Danielle is a Licensed Acupuncturist with an Engineering background.  Working as a technology research analyst at IT companies for over 7 years, she used to struggle with chronic lower back pain. After trying different therapeutic methods with no progress, she was introduced to an acupuncturist, where she opened her eyes to the world of Oriental Medicine (aka TCM, Traditional Chinese Medicine).  

As her condition improved upon a series of acupuncture treatments, she was amazed at how it could be an effective alternative therapy for people suffering from musculoskeletal pains. She also witnessed the life-changing impact that acupuncture and herbal medicine can have on both the physical and emotional wellness of people with a holistic and less intrusive approach. Thus she decided to study it further to prove herself if it is real and completed her degree in the Master of Science in Oriental Medicine at South Baylo University. 

Coming from the Engineering world, she tends to record all the details and to build up a strong evidence-based ground when she approaches Oriental Medicine and she is a strong believer in Integrated Medicine combining conventional medicine (Western Medicine), Oriental Medicine/TCM, and all other alternative therapies to provide safe and effective health care to the community.

During her Clinical Internship at South Baylo University (SBU), she had over 500 patients with serious ailments; Post-Stroke, Bell’s Palsy, Parkinson's, infertility, fibromyalgia, just to name a few.  She worked with several Oriental Medicine doctors, specialized in scalp/facial acupuncture for neurological problems, Master Tung Acupuncture, Korean Four Needle techniques, and Electro-Acupuncture.

Danielle immigrated to the US in her teenage year and grew up in Texas, then lived in Northern Iraq (Kurdistan) for 2 1/2 years and in Exeter, UK for 6 months. Moved to Korea and lived there for another 3 years. She also traveled to over 30+ countries, mostly EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) region. She believes that she became who she is, thanks to all the interactions she had with different people and cultures.

Danielle has a caring heart. As a mother of a 7 yr old boy, she naturally cares for children and their parents. She has a great understanding of the patient's pain since she herself was in severe pain for several years. She is a dedicated listener and cares for her patients sincerely and wholeheartedly.
